The Florida Judges Project focuses on the legacy of judges who have achieved senior status, or are preparing to enter senior status in the three judicial districts of Florida.

Historically, decisions from the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts have been the extremely influential in national jurisprudence. This project attempts to capture the logic behind some of these outcomes.

The main goal of the project, however, is to personify the judiciary. Judges are human beings and the interview process emphasizes their backgrounds. The questions probe into the journey each participant took to arrive to their position and to provide advice for incoming judges.
