SPOHP Projects

The Samuel Proctor Oral History Program conducts its research and activities through its oral history projects. Each project focuses on unique subjects, chronological periods and events, and geographic regions. These projects enable academic research by UF faculty members and beyond through the documentation of the experiences of individuals and groups. More, UF student-staff members and volunteers gain critical methodological knowledge through their work on these projects. Student-staff members are involved at every level of the oral history methodological process from drafting interview questionnaires to creating multimedia content and everything in between. Finally, each project provides invaluable research data for UF student projects on every level from senior theses to dissertations.
