LDAP 10 Commandments

  1. We want our people to know who they are and be active participants in their history and future.
  2. We want our people to be unapologetic for who they are and create spaces for themselves.
  3. We want justice for every person in every instance of unfair treatment due to race or prejudice.
  4. We want people from all ethnicities, economic statuses, and sexual orientations to have equal opportunity to gain knowledge through education and access to equal jobs.
  5. We want people to un-other each other. We are another.
  6. We want the voices of our colonized people to become louder when others try to silence them.
  7. We want our people to learn about systematic oppression through education– not experience.
  8. We want our people to be able to walk the streets, feeling comfortable in the skin that they live in.
  9. We want our people to love themselves unconditionally, through a decolonized lens.
  10. We want our people to continue to defend our stories and our truths by understanding who we are through the liberation of our decolonial minds and continuously fight for the world we deserve.

Hasta la victoria.
