September 10, 2015 - September 30, 2015
Featuring a series of free film screenings, musical performances, public lectures and panel discussions throughout the month of September, the Gainesville Latino Film Festival (GLFF) is one of city’s largest and most culturally diverse public events. The Gainesville Latino Film Festival is hosted and organized by the Latina Women’s League.
As part of Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month, GLFF celebrates the tremendous contributions of the Hispanic/Latino community to the arts and entertainment industry. Screening a total of 21 films from 14 different countries, the 2015 film line up showcases the diversity of political viewpoints, social issues and cultural practices that exist throughout the Latin community. During many of the film screenings, audiences have the opportunity to participate in group discussions led by distinguished guests.
