This 3-credit course meets weekly on Tuesdays from 1:55pm – 4:55pm. Interns receive hands-on training in oral history methodologies and grounding in the theoretical underpinnings of our field, while contributing to the day-to-day work of SPOHP. This semester we will focus on the Pensacola Environmental Oral History Project, which documents stories of resilience and community organizing around Pensacola, Florida’s toxic waste sites.
